For the third consecutive year FAR EAST IN PROGRESS will present
upcoming Asian feature films in
post-production looking for festival premiere and
international distribution; selected teams will have the chance to screen max 10′ of their films to a large panel of international sales agents, festival programmers and buyers from both Europe and Asia.
The platform represents a natural follow up for films previously presented in Asia project markets or developed at workshops such as Ties That Bind.
The
titles selected at Far East in Progress 2022 are:
Blood Song: A Silent Ballad, directed by Phanuthep Sutthithepthamrong - Zati Studio Co., Ltd, Thailand
Frankenfish by the River, directed by Yusha Chen - Yiti Film Productions, China
In the Morning of La Petite Mort, directed by Yu-lin Wang - Flash Forward Entertainment, Taiwan
The Absent, directed by Dan Lu - Apostle films, China
The River Breathes, directed by Shoji Toyama - The River Breathes Production Committee, Japan
Till Love Do Us Part, directed by Ran Li - Bunnylake Production, China
Thanks to a renewed partnership with 108 MEDIA, the titles selected at Far East in Progress will have a chance to win the
108 MEDIA Distribution Award.
