If possible, consider rail or car sharing as an alternative to air travel for your commute.
In terms of energy and emissions, rail transport is among the most efficient. At ecopassenger.org you can compare the energy consumption, CO2 emissions and other environmental impacts of airplanes, cars and trains in passenger transport.

Udine is an easily walkable city even though the bicycle is the fastest and most sustainable means of transportation. The city's bike share service is offered by Ridemovi. Check to see if you can apply for a free bike loan at the facility or hotel where you are staying.

There is also an electric car sharing service with cars owned by the municipalities of Udine and Tavagnacco (more information here and here).
