How to reach Udine

By plane, the nearest airports are:
Trieste - (Bus from the airport to Udine railway station);
Venice - (Bus from the airport to Mestre railway station, then train to Udine);
Treviso - (Bus from the airport to Treviso railway station, then train to Udine).
By train - Udine is located on the Rome to Wien line (Rome, Florence, Bologna, Venezia Mestre, Udine); coming from Turin or Milan you have to change at Venezia Mestre (Venice mainland) station and take the train to Udine -
By car - highway A4 (from Venice towards Austria), follow on the highway A23 to Udine/Austria, exit at Udine Sud toll station, straight ahead for Udine centro, the downtown area.

How to reach Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine

If you are coming by train, you can easily reach the theatre with bus n°4 (buy the ticket inside the station and board the bus just outside the main entrance), fifth stop - viale Trieste.
By car - white signs on the city’s main roads will point to the Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine, under a black and white logo symbolizing theatrical masks.
