There's little sign of on-screen fatigue in this latest entry in the Category III sex-manual series which, though not quite as energetic as the first two, still comes up with plenty of excuses for furious copulation, copious disrobing and plenty of gratuitous violence.
Set in Sung-dynasty China, the film focuses on three girls - country girl Su Sam, cute Ching-yun and sexy Fanny - sent to Fragrance House, a high-class bordello run by a former prostitute, Kau, who (in the movie's most outrageous sequence) puts the girls through an intimate physical inspection before schooling them in
the finer points of sexual techniques. Su Sam (Taiwanese actress Karen Yang) falls for a scholar, is tortured by Kau for neglecting her job, and ends up framed by the scheming Fanny (Mainland actress Tung Yee) for the murder of a rich client (Elvis Tsui). As Ching-yun, Taiwanese babe Jane Chung - who plays a schoolgirl
in Raped by an Angel 2- mostly stands on the sidelines, despite getting top billing.
