After gracing the Udine Far East Film Festival with her presence at the 2nd edition of the festival in 2000 with Teddy Chen’s
Purple Storm, FEFF is extremely excited to share the news of the upcoming reunion with
Hong Kong’s top actress, singer, and producer, Josie Ho. Ever since her debut in 1994, Josie has starred in diverse roles from quirky, to sassy, to comedic, in both TV and film. Actively working in both East and the West, she has been making performances with lasting impressions leading to countless nominations and wins on both domestic and international levels. Notable wins include The Best Supporting Actress Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards for
Naked Ambition, The Best Actress award at The Sitges Film Festival for
Dream Home, and the World Most Outstanding Grandmaster Excellence Award at the 5th World Grandmaster Award in 2019.
Beyond her acting career, she’s also a successful business woman who founded 852 Films in 2009 with Andrew Ooi and her husband Conroy Chan. With the number of endless creative works from Josie, it’s hard to keep up. This year, FEFF will be spotlighting her latest creation she worked on as a producer and the cast,
Finding Bliss: Fire and Ice – Director’s Cut, a film about healing and simple pleasures, but also a documentary that brings together Josie’s two passions, music and filmmaking.
